They caught on to this tactic a long time ago and it's why they start conversations now with #nodebate.
I'm thinking of sincere and earnest conversations I tried to have many, many years ago (where I wasn't trying to piss anyone off, I was just baffled and thought maybe I'd misunderstood because how else could they be saying such stupid things?) - I just got accused of "sea lioning" and banned from various bits of reddit.
