Donations to the LGB Alliance

Just wondering if it's possible to make a one-off donation to the Alliance, or if they have to be recurring? I went to donate just now and it looks as if you can only set up a direct debit to be taken daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly, and so on. I'm not in a stable financial situation and can't commit to that, but was going to give something now while I have it.

Has anyone else donated recently? Can they clear this up for me?

Just don't tick the box that says 'make this donation every...'.

Oh it's a box you tick! I completely missed that, I thought you had to choose something from the drop down menu. What an idiot

Hopefully they'll have charitable status soon (they're working towards it) so you'll be able to claim gift aid on donations!

It's been a long day

If things settle down I hope to be able to donate more regularly. It's the only way I have of showing support right now, and it means a lot to me to be able to feel like I'm actually doing something in this fight.

They need all the support they can get, they've been so targeted and every form of donating platform was removed for them.

I'm so glad they had a direct donate option now. I'd also like to donate monthly but not right now.

It's really awful what they have had to endure but still they go on getting stronger and stronger!
