I have lived places where girls have their genitalia cut off or sewn up, because of their sex.
Where hitting your wife is or is not a crime - or it may be, but it makes no difference because nobody ever prosecutes it. And no woman in the right mind would walk into a police station anyway.
Where gay men (it's "impossible" for women to be same-sex attracted) are anally raped in police stations. Not including the "tests" done on them to see if they've had anal sex before.
Where falling in love with the wrong person can leave you, and possibly your relatives, dead.
Where women are expected to give birth to prove their worth to men. And to spend the rest of their lives supporting the men and the rest of the children they bear. Any deviance from this is shameful - and often beaten out of her.
And only ONE of these things will POSSIBLY get you asylum in other countries (being gay), but even then, you have to get out first, often a very expensive and dangerous endeavour, then you have extensive interviews to prove you're at danger.
Yet, British transwomen (and I use that word here in an attempt to not be deleted) are saying they're going to claim asylum in Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand or Ireland because it's too unsafe for them in the UK.
Why?
Because they can't piss in (on..) women's toilets.
I am absolutely beyond disgusted by their attitudes. More than before. If they feel so discriminated against, and these other countries are so much better, good luck to them there. But apply the same way other people do. Apply for residency on merit. The delusion of being oppressed is disgusting, but to even let the words stated in that article out of their mouths, putting themselves on a par with, say, lesbians in Nigeria, or a Syrian revolutionary fleeing Assad. My god. It's utterly, utterly revolting.
Or is this satire? I actually hope it's satire. But in oppression olympics, I can see it's likely not.
