The ‘DARVO’ Tactics of the Men’s Rights Activism Behind Transgenderism

Trans Rights Activists are just Men’s Rights Activists using the tactics of ‘DARVO’: Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender.

We need to disavow ourselves of the idea that “transgenderism” is anything but a men’s rights activist (MRA) agenda using tools of manipulation to present themselves as victims. All the rights being openly fought for by TRAs are men’s rights to violate women’s rights and bodily integrity.

Children would not be so confused and uncertain, if it wasn't for these special lobby groups being given special access to schools, and indoctrinating children and parents and teachers.

OccasionalKite · 01/06/2020 02:45

Ursula2001

Do you realise that you are being totally transphobic by saying, and I quote from your post:

"In fact, is AGP even trans?"

You transphobe, you!

The ones I feel sorry for are the non-TRA trans kids who are confused over their gender identity.

You mean the children who have been brainwashed into believing they have a 'gender identity' so that they can be held up as proof that transgenderism is a normal and natural state?

@Ursula2001

Yes, I do think the 'guidance' has probably influenced a lot of kids. We didn't see this in the 90s/00s. I still feel sorry that they'll be labelled perverts when they're just confused kids.
Who is labelling them perverts?

I agree with OccasionalKite.

I suggest that anyone thinking they can engage constructively with Ursula take a look at the threads on the protests in the USA (specifically the ones on "When the looting starts..." and "Are the US police insitutionally racist?"). You may decide it is best to ignore and talk round Ursula. It's certainly what I shall be doing in future.

Getting back to the OP, DARVO is certainly something I've seen used increasingly by extreme TRAs. It's almost as though they've gone through threads on here and twitter threads by GC women and started to parrot phrases (often without a clue what they mean, thereby making themselves look ridiculous).

nauticant · 01/06/2020 08:18

I'd wondered if it was just me CaraDune. Especially since that poster seemed to be getting screenshot on twitter as an example of how awful we are.

nauticant · 01/06/2020 08:19

Ahh, deletions. Looks like MNHQ has cottoned on too.

HorseRadishFemish · 01/06/2020 08:37

What happened to three strikes and you're out then?

Is Ursula really Dominic Scummings and so gets a free pass?

Which is in itself a DARVO. Meta.

Winesalot · 01/06/2020 09:41

I had begun to wonder myself. About the poster but also I noticed that over the past week that the phrase ‘male/female is dehumanising’ has come up, or is it having a resurgence?

Either way it is quite an effort to see that when they keep using cervixhaver and pregnant people etc. Just another catch phrase that doesn’t quite stand up to scrutiny.

SarahTancredi · 01/06/2020 10:25

Theres also never ever any middle ground

We either let everything go no matter how dangerous or risky or unreasonable or hate them and want them to get hurt.

Most people are reasonable and would be be happy to reach a compromise that kept everyone safe and happy.

Life is full of compromises its how we all try and middle along. But that seems to be a swear word amongst activists.

TyroSaysMeow · 01/06/2020 15:09

‘male/female is dehumanising’

The thing that really pisses me off about the way we're expected to all change our language is that it is dehumanising to be referred to as a female rather than a woman.

Because male and female apply to all sexually reproducing species, not just humans. That's why we have a specific word that encompasses both female and human - woman - that I will not be giving up any time soon.

It pisses me off that we're not allowed to describe a subset of born-with-penises individuals as transgender men, because we're being denied the possibility of using accurate, non-sexist, humanising language to describe them.

What the Other Side's take on "male is a dehumanising word" is, I have no idea. But that's mine.

And no, they can't have "woman" because that decouples the word from the physiological reality and thus denies me the humanising word I need to describe myself.
