What an amazing woman.

As soon as I read that article I knew I recognised her story about the German troops at the Polish border - and sure enough, she inspired Helen Hunt's character in the BBC drama World on Fire. Which wasn't particularly good - but her part was great

Such an inspiring woman and journalist. And living to 105.

The Antiques Roadshow has one of her relatives with some of her photos etc - on now.
