TFW you're a woman who has gleefully used an Anti-Woman slur for head pats from your woke tribe, and you start to realize that you can't ride the tiger when men start using the slur against you.

I mean, obviously, the people in this thread haven't yet reached the point of just not calling women nasty names for talking about their rights, their main concern is the T word being diluted. But it's always intriguing to see those glimmers of reality pop against the mental shielding of the acolytes.

It is always fascinating to watch the interaction of the manufactured reality with the real world when they meet.
It reminds me of Terry Pratchet books when magic spells get out of step with the rest of the world and strange things happen around the edge until reality brings things back to where they should be.

TRA has a history of calling women “terfs.” Gets called “TERF” them self. Outraged.

It's a transactivist complaining that the 'terf' slur is being used by 'cis men' to silence women. She doesn't mind when it's women she doesn't like, but has suddenly worked out that these men are revelling in the opportunity to verbally abuse any women at all, even the nice, compliant ones like her, and she doesn't like it.

The narc rage meltdowns from the TRAs are escalating as sunlight pours in. They’ll all be fighting and starting on each other. This is the point when many female TRAs will find themselves under fire as the attacks become more frenzied and indescriminate. Lots of hitherto TRA sympathising women are going to start seeing the real agenda behind what they have been promoting. It will be interesting to see the reactions of these women and what they do next.

We are entering an interesting and potentially dangerous time. I would advise all women being public about their opposition to the TRA agenda to be very careful indeed, because things will get very nasty. There are some seriously unhinged individuals out there who will be driven over the edge.

Well, there's no way of knowing for sure online, and there's no way of saying clearly on Mumsnet, but 'our cause' is a catch all term that encompasses 'the trans movement' which as we know, includes both men and women.

Obviously it only includes men and women, cos there ain't no other options, but those men and women may feel their inner woo has a special name, who knows?

don that was my feeling too - they/them pronouns does usually mean I err towards an assumption of female, given that NonBinary seems to be either an escape for women, and a platform for bearded WokeMen to claim special points.

Plus, tbh, this is the kind of perspective I would expect from a woman in this movement. Most of the blokes are enjoying using the slurs far too much to be even this self aware.

It was always on the cards I think that the raw (and evil) hatred and sadism these men feel for women was going to be difficult for even the most misogynistic woman within the TRA movement to bear. They were kidding themselves if they believed they were different and would be unscathed.

And she seems to think these men actually give a crap about their 'cause'. These men care about one thing and one thing only...male dominance of women and girls. The TRA movement is just the latest way they have found to do it.

I don't see anything indicating she's a proper TRA. Looks like a gay lass who is into video games and manga- meaning she's probably been fed a lot of drivel.

I know a lot of gay and GNC girls who have bought the nonsense. Many of them are quite close to GC in their recognition of the problems of stereotypes but the solution they are being sold doesn't work.
