Labour turning down applications

Not exclusively limited to those with gender critical views (e.g. Femi Oluwole), but it seems to be happening a lot. Labour are determined to never be in power again, aren't they?

(People in the replies confirming this has happened to them too.)

@UKLabour - is it true that you're turning down membership applications from gender-critical people? That you don't want people who consider women to be adult human females? Who understand that "transwomen are women" is a denial of biological reality?

"#Labour has rejected me. I joined Dec 19th, received welcome pack, membership card, my subs were taken and I voted in the leadership election. Now with no evidence presented - just a maliciously false allegation of me supporting #BorisJohnson - I’ve been rejected with no appeal. t.co/Cdwc57wCWQ "

Dido good article, I was only saying to my Dsis earlier this virus has bought our the worst in some people, especially with regards to policing others.

we've had a local government official contact us to check we are operating legally because we've been reported, we have honestly done everything we can to protect staff but can't furlough without a reduction in demand and we make products for the funeral industry (not coffins). So we may have a spike in demand we don't know.

Now really isn't the time for mud slinging it's the time for working together, for me any one point scoring at the moment puts me right off.

It's also highlighted for me the bubble me & my middle class friends live in, all but a few of us have the ability to self isolate by working from home, I've been adding extra to our weekly shopping for months not sure why mostly to give us a just in case buffer but my single parent neighbor hasn't been able to do any of that because she doesn't have the spare income. And the other neighbors children have lost the only respite they had from their abusive drug addict parents, who clearly aren't helping them stay on top of their education as they are outside dawn- dusk.

Having seen Corbyn using this current crisis as a point-scoring exercise, I can say whole heartedly - well. I won't, I'm trying not to be rude.

Interestingly the official my business has been contacted by is Labour and is all over social media about wanting power to shutdown businesses, who he believes isn't vital. Including warehouses which I'm sure could be vital in ways we haven't thought of, but equally could be badly run.

I fully support the need for robust health and safety particularly at this time but something feels wrong about this I know best attitude and do as I say or I'll get the police.
