Edinburgh rape crisis centre forced to defend gender neutral toilets after criticism

This is from a few days ago - and I suppose given what we know about both Rape Crisis and Women's Aid in Scotland not a surprise.

Those replies,what the hell is wrong with people.

Those people.I'd say most of them have not yet and hopefully never, had to use this kind of service.Ignorant and selfish.

Twitter is a nonsense place.

The irony is that a women's rape crisis centre would be single sex from it's front door, so the toilets could safely be genuinely gender-neutral, with no signage other than 'Toilet', thus being genuinely trans-inclusive, as transmen could feel safe there.

The problem is, of course, that the toilets and the whole establishment are now mixed-sex.
