Drag Queen / Rainbow Story Time Australia - fetish, porn, bears in jockstraps, the usual stuff

During my research into the mean and disturbing links between the TRA/non-binary movements and the DIS/MPD?multiple systems movements linked to false memories of satanic ritual abuse I discovered an Australian example of drag queen story time that I thought might be of interest to readers here.

The drag artiste who performs for children is called Dean Arcuri aka Frock Hudson

I think it is likely that I am much more liberal than some of the posters here in relation to sexuality. I do not care at all what consenting adults do in private, they can engage in pup play, fetish / kink / whatever and I do not believe that it is my business.

However I find the mix of porn references, men in jockstraps, fetish references and the like very disturbing when placed on a twitter feed alongside photos of very young children attending Drag Queen / Rainbow Story Time events lead by the same man who appears in fetish clothing, jockstraps and in other very adult situations on the same twitter feeds.

Dean Arcuri is listed as delivering "Drag Storytime with Dean Arcuri (for kids TBC)” on day 2 of Being Together 2020 festival at 10.30 am

<a class="break-all" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200217144123/www.theequalityproject.org.au/better-together-schedule" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">web.archive.org/web/20200217144123/www.theequalityproject.org.au/better-together-schedule

The festival is interesting as it has a wide range of events and workshops. Some look like they might be interesting. Others raise concerns for me when delivered at a family event with children. For example there are modules on polyamory, Non-traditional Relationships in the Queer Community, Youth Inclusion & Empowerment in the LGBTQ Movement, Supporting Our Queer Youth, and a Police Panel with Assistant Commissioner Neil Paterson - VIC Police, Detective Snr Sergeant Sasha Finney - QLD Police (45 mins)

Maybe Australian culture is much more liberal than the UK? Even if it is I do feel concerned about some of the content of this event and the involvement of the Australian police.

I might get flamed for this, but I was involved on the peripheries of LGB youth organisations in the 80s and early 90s and while there were definitely some decent, kind people working to support young people there were also predators. I was there in person when PIE tried to infiltrate LGB groups and I remember how it happened. I am having horrible feelings of deja vu in relation to the whole drag queen story time thing and to some of the LGBTI+++ whatever youth groups and events currently being promoted by the stunning and the brave.

Dean, if you get to read this, could you please post here about your thinking behind placing photos of young children on your twitter feed alongside tweets advertising porn themed events, fetish themed events and other events that are totally inappropriate for children to see?

Did you obtain consent from the children and their parent/s / carer/s prior to publishing their photos on your twitter feed?

Have you given any consideration to how young children might feel if they discover the very adult themed material, including photos of you in fetish clothing and naked apart from a jockstrap, on your twitter feed?

Thanks

I would also be interested to her the opinions of Assistant Commissioner Neil Paterson - VIC Police, Detective Snr Sergeant Sasha Finney - QLD Police on whether the photos and events on the twitter feeds of Dean Arcuri / Frock Hudson are appropriate and congruent with child safeguarding procedures.

How did drag take over everything while I wasn’t looking?
