I recently started following Zuby, no idea what he does really, but I like his tweets.

Didn't he break the women's world deadlift record a year or so ago by saying he identified as a woman that day? And showing how easy it was for a half-decent amateur man to beat professional women. I think that's when I followed him!

He's raising awareness but I believe he's also quite sexist and homophobic.

I don’t think his songs are derogatory regarding women - or so he says. I follow him on FB since the weightlifting. He comes across as ok.

Zuby is a raging homophobe and is anti choice to an extreme but he's also popular and has a fantastic visual impact on the trans sport issue - his deadlift record smash was very effective.

zebra what the hell, that is shocking. I mean it could not get any more obvious. How can there still be people saying "there literally is no difference between TW and women because they take hormones!"

I agree with Zuby on this, while disagreeing with him on most other things.

I follow zuby on twitter. I also follow caroline farrow and loads of other people. I dont agree with everything they say. He raises the profile on issues like this and he is not afraid to speak out.

I actually listened to his last album and quite enjoyed it.

He came on here once and, if I remember correctly, we had a good old fashioned, no quarter given mumsnetty row about abortion rights. I still like him. He was on Joe Rogan a while ago and I thought he came across well. (They didn't discuss abortion though.)
