Thought you might be interested in signing this petition to ask for separate spaces for trans people

If they want to be inconspicuous they can use the facilities in line with their sex, and if you seriously imagine these spaces would become a free for all with everyone barrelling in, you're barking.

What will make them more conspicuous? Is being one sex and demanding to be legally the opposite sex not conspicuous enough?

Bullied by whom? Boys? Education, education education. Girls? First work out if it is fear based behaviour then, again education, education, education.

But again, why is it OK for women and girls to be put upon just because?

And what do you mean by having to police 3rd spaces. Free for all is precisely what they would be.

Anyone would be legally entitled to use them, just because they say so. That's what the self identification argument is all about.

I was at an art event at a local synagogue last year.

Looked for the loos - saw the mixed sex sign on the door.

Sulked for a nanosecond - then saw the woman figure on the door to the left and the man figure on the door to the right.

My other half and I did a recce and confirmed all three spaces had a baby
change and disabled people's facilities.

This little synagogue has solved it beautifully.

Comfort, dignity and safety for all.

Third space is the answer - not Self ID.

Plus do all transmen and transwomen want to share the same space anyway?

Why wouldn’t they? What possible reason would their be for two groups of people of different sexes, not wanting to share a space? Where’s the harm in it?

You’ve been using bathrooms with trans people for years. If someone is gonna assault us who is trans. they sure as hell aren’t gonna care that there’s a third space designed for them.

Some of us women have trans kids. They deserve protection.

Trans women and Trans men already have the right to use gender specific spaces ! The Equality Act 2010. Your argument is dead. This already exists in law. Just get on with it. Personal views muddy all waters but but prejudice is prejudice T folk aren’t in any rush to negatively damage anyone. Let’s face it most individuals that do are CIS. Not sure what all this is about really. I think acceptance of others differences and equality is the best way to forge forward within a society that we live and build a better one.

I feel like I shouldn’t comment because I am not transgender and don’t care who uses the same toilet facility as me but I’m going to comment anyway! I’m sad that you can’t use the “gender specific” toilet facility without ridicule or that there is even a stigma attached to (what seems to be the case through the comments and purpose of this post) a male using a female toilet or vice versa. As a hetro female, I don’t think every male using a pisser is going to come at me. I fully support this thread and if that means a third toilet facility is adopted for trans then please introduce but I’m sad that any cic female / male would be SOOOO concerned about the other gender using the toilet next to them that they feel threatened and that trans cant piss next to them in peace? controversial but if your concern is them attacking you... someone who is a sex offender doesn’t care what toilet they are pissing in! They will do it anyway so please stop blaming trans. Please let trans go to the toilet wherever ✌🏼
