Anybody familiar with this MP?

"Copeland Conservative MP Trudy Harrison has been appointed as BorisJohnson's Parliamentary Private Secretary. His "right-hand woman" she says. The role of the PPS is to act as an assistant but also as a pair of eyes and ears for the PM in the Commons.

All I remember about her is that she was first elected when Jamie Reed resigned. With hindsight, it was probably the first strong indication that Labour was going to lose a lot of northern seats. She came across very well, making the most of the fact that moderates like Jamie Reed were leaving Labour. Clever appointment as she has more parliamentary experience than the new intake of northern Conservative MPs but it still gives out the message about being responsive to new Conservative voters in the north.

PPS is bag-carrier and school sneak, hanging round the cloakrooms eavesdropping on the gossip to run and tell.
