Good. Put it in court and test it. There are ways to provide facilities for trans and NB children without removing privacy and dignity from all female children.

GrinitchSpinach · 14/12/2019 20:14

About time.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 14/12/2019 20:15

That would be wonderful. Pull out another brick from the wall of misogyny and give the children their dignity, privacy and safety back.

SarahTancredi · 14/12/2019 20:16

Good luck to them. Let's hope this makes the bullshit stop.

Of course they indoctrinated them first so this is far more traumatic for far more kids than it needed to be.

Is there some hole-filling to do?

OhHolyJesus · 14/12/2019 20:50

There is Cadbury - bring spades

What will Layla do, I wonder.

Layla Moran used to teach and can also see into peoples souls.

Re-elected to the Lib Dems somewhere in Oxford.

FemaleAndLearning · 14/12/2019 21:03

Does anyone know who the Trans Inclusion tool kit was written by? Is it the council, if so who advised them? Happy to support crowdfunding if this goes to court.

FemaleAndLearning · 14/12/2019 21:07

Sorry, just read the link above properly!
All sorts, but a range of county council's involved too outside of Oxfordshire.

HermioneWeasley · 14/12/2019 21:08

Good, about bloody time

DragonontheWagon · 14/12/2019 21:13

Occ has just had their send dept Offstedded again after their last failure.

I live under their utter bollocky regime and it drives me nuts.

Manderleyagain · 14/12/2019 21:16

How does getting a judicial review work? Presumably there is some kind of process where you seek permission?

There are a number of legal cases requiring shovel action at the mo, and this is obviously an important one. Well done those involved.

GCAcademic · 14/12/2019 21:19

Is there a crowdfunder for legal costs? Happy to contribute.

nauticant · 14/12/2019 21:46

Yes. Obviously it can't be linked to but having a look here:

safeschoolsallianceuk.net/legal-action/

is instructive.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 14/12/2019 21:48

Another one who would contribute to a crowd fund...

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 14/12/2019 21:54

Good. Kids are legally entitled to sex segregated facilities after a certain age, and "getting ahead of the law" is otherwise known as breaking it.

FagashJackie · 14/12/2019 21:58

Thanks for the share token Sparticus

LizzieSiddal · 14/12/2019 21:58

Brilliant, what an important case this will be.

YourOpinionIsNoted · 14/12/2019 21:59

Fantastic news. I can't help dig until I've had a new spade delivery later in the month but I will definitely be mucking in. This stuff needs to go through the courts, way too many organisations have blindly accepted 'stonewall law' instead of following the actual law.

FagashJackie · 14/12/2019 22:03

And brava Vicki Edwards.
