This fills me with horror. I’d be willing to bet that changing an algorithm is relatively easy, but the fact that Instagram is serving up young children as fodder for sick fucks is inexcusable.

Who is writing the algorithms? Do they want to change them?

I don't think they are known to have a good track record on stopping pedophilia on their platforms, are they.

Kids that age shouldn’t be on there. Are parents completely devoid of any brain cells? It makes me quite angry because I know a girl who started off on Instagram at 9 and shes now 12 and posting bra selfies. The mum follows her and thinks it’s great. We looked at some of her followers and several were middle aged men in foreign countries. The mum isn’t concerned.
