The Times story is paywalled. Here's an alternative version from Metro:

I read that earlier and was immensely cheered by it. Fantastic woman!

That's a lovely story. Thanks for posting. I'm feeling a bit gloomy and it cheered me up. I know what having help to achieve your potential feels like. I've had a support worker for several months and she's changed my life.

Brava! fabulous and inspiring.

Melroses · 27/11/2019 14:19

That was heartening. There are so many people who fall through the cracks and never have a chance. I hope her charity does well.

FeckTheMagicDragon · 27/11/2019 16:39

I also love her proper purple hair :D

How lovely.
It reminds me of the guy who invented insulin and sold the patent for $1 to benefit mankind.
But that didn't turn out so well, with absolute price gouging by U.S. pharmaceuticals to this day.
