MockersFactCheckMN - the whole point is that neither of the women will get their day in court because Assange has continually run away.
If he had in the first instance gone to Sweden to answer questions it is quite likely that the case itself may not have proceeded. (Despite its reputation actual rape convictions in sweden are low)
His dillusional idea that he is some sort of hereo that he needs special treatment meant he locked himself away in self imposed imprisonment.
He is now in prison for breaking his bail conditions (and losing those who stood bond for him a lot of money) of the proceedings for a European Arrest Warrant (to return to sweden for questioning).
All his acolytes who moan about how awful it is for him to be in prison because of the conditions seem to think he is somehow more precious than every other person being held in a UK prison.
It is just so typical of male politics that they set up false leaders (always male) and then basically give them the right to behave badly, so that the moment women try to point out actual abuse, everyone goes, on no not our Leader, she must be making it up, it must be a CIA plot, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So to summarise 2 women who reported sexual assault to the police in Sweden have been left without justice.
And as if to make it any worse it isn't even as though Wikeleaks has done anything useful other than be a platform for Assange's ego.
At least Chelsea Manning had the guts to take the punishment the US establishment imposed for exposing US secrets. But in the meantime Assange continues to whine an moan when in fact he is just a freeloader on someone else courage of conviction. Assange has none. Either as a male or as a so called activist.
