Looks great. Smile

It is great that they are doing this. I am too far away to be able to make the meeting but I hope it will go well and will not be disturbed by violent counter activists. Thank you for working for our rights. Flowers

Louise and Karen are both fantastic speakers. Looks like all four speakers will be really interesting. A great lineup, wish I could be there.

I've got my ticket. Really hope it's peaceful. The Leeds events I've been to before we're fine.

Hope to see lots of mumsnetters there, I hear you're a very radical bunch

I ma not sure how this went. It seems there were some transactivists outside.

It went well! The protestors were quiet and gave me a leaflet as I walked through but there was no shouting or harassment (to my immense relief!).

Great speeches from Louise Moody, Thomasin Pick, Karen Ingala Smith and a woman from WPUK whose name I didn't catch sorry!

Thomasin is a detransitioned lesbian, she's only 19 and spoke as well as I've ever heard anyone speak. Straight from the heart and utterly compelling - she deserved the standing ovation!

Thanks for the twitter links and to everyone tweeting, great points.

Oh, thank goodness, Cooroo! My heart always sinks when I read 'there were transactivists'. Leaflets, fine. Glad it went well.
