'Hidden bathroom cameras' - a voyeur's market

The term 'cheap and nasty' has never been so appropriate.

Google 'hidden bathroom camera' and you'll find an astonishing variety of goods designed and sold to spy on, objectify and exploit women at our most vulnerable.

There's also many porn sites that sell and share the images they capture.

'Molka' is one term for this specialist interest.

Yet another reason for keeping some spaces completely free of male access.

Worth keeping to show anyone who still doesn't get it.

Erm. Why did you Google this in the first place?

I made the decision not to as I did not want to become a voyeur myself.

The picture and information are summarised from a Twitter conversation on the topic of why some spaces should remain female only.

So gross.

Doesn't really matter though does it? These things exist and people should know about it.

Gingerkittykat · 27/10/2019 22:19

It is really scary that they are available so cheaply and easily.

AvocadoToes · 27/10/2019 22:46

Of course such products exist, but I'm pretty confident these are a mistranslation. They are far to cheap, and the product details don't mention cameras anywhere, or have any pictures of them, despite showing multiple views of the product.

I googled hidden bathroom cameras and this story came up about a couple of pilots livestreaming from a camera concealed in one of the toilets of their aeroplane. The flight attendant who blew the whistle, her husband and other flight staff were punished by the airline for not keeping silent, by being repeatedly performance audited and drug tested. Just a couple of pilots having a bit of harmless fun, nothing to see here.
