Harry sounds distraught - what's happened? Hope he's ok - this is a lot for one man to take on. But it is so worthwhile.

I think it is easy to underestimate the strain taking on this sort of thing entails, on family life too. He is near the time of the court case now so presumably seeing the other sides case and feeling the pressure.

Let us not forget about his hole. ⛏

The police don't want to admit that they got this wrong. They'll be a laughing stock if they do. They literally asked to check Harry's thinking for posting messages such as "huh"!

He's going against imposed state thinking, He's going to be beaten to a pulp whether he is successful or not.
It's probably occurred to him that his family is in actual danger.

Ah. I wondered what might have happened to cause a mental/emotional crisis to an apparently straightforward bloke. An ex-cop in a dispute with the Police and the Police lying in their evidence is more than enough to do it. No wonder he was laid low by this.

I’m glad you are feeling better Harry, I had a similar moment many years ago when I was a couple of weeks away from a tribunal regarding my sons education. It had taken us 4 years to get to that point and with two weeks to go I honestly didn’t feel that I could face it. I think that the thought of losing was suddenly too terrifying to take in.

I am about to get the purse out to help with the digging. It’s amazing what can be achieved with a small plastic rectangle.

I'm really disturbed that the police are telling blatant lies.

I mean, I know policemen are humans, and humans tell lies blah de blah. But this is just barefaced lying about what was said to Harry - when the PC has already confirmed he said it.
