Today I looked up glinner

Because I don't look at Twitter all that often. I look up glinner to see what he's been writing lately. I found a few accounts mentioning him in their username, looked at one and the description was as you would expect, pronouns and all that jazz. Clicked on the tweets tab (I use a third party app, not the official app) and lo and behold I've been blocked. I have never written anything remotely GC on Twitter, in fact my tweets are private, but I've been blocked presumably sheerly on the basis of following glinner. I know this is no real news to any of you who are actively GC on here or twitter but it's insane, is it not? Blocked by virtue of whom I follow when I've written nothing. It's as if they can't hack even the possibility of criticism eh?

I’m on a few lists. I thought I wasn’t then another GC feminist sent me screenshots of my Twitter page on them. Threatening to doxx me etc. Not that I’m bothered. My real picture name and general location are on there anyway.

He doesn't use a TERF blocker at all. In the height of the twitter storm over his gender critical dance he locked his Twitter account to only those who follow him.

I'm on multiple terf block lists. I can't see anything from our favourite Jimmy Saville impersonator for example. But because I followed glinner before he came out as gender critical I can still see his tweets. He's pretty much retired from twitter these days, only really talking about Motherland

I am now on terfblocker, which I think is fairly recent. I got blocked by a few other people who I think also manually block anyone who replies or retweets someone tervish.

I find the fact that tweets become visible or not depending on who you are, even more sinister than all the blocklists. So one can read a “debate” and feel completely outnumbered by people in favour of x, while all the people who posted against x have had their responses hidden from you.

That's what I think happens mintyroller. I have seen some tweets from people saying they will block anyone liking, retweeting or replying to a particular tweet or following the tweeter. I got blocked by quite a few individuals before achieving Terfblocked status.

Please don't feel intimidated posting here, mintyroller. Yes there are the Feminist Chat Goddesses but there's also lots of us who just like being able to comment or ask questions on things that are not discussed properly elsewhere.

There are other blocklists, it isn’t just terfblocker. Quite possibly you have been put on a different list.
Can you see tweets by lily madigan ? Have a look at some leading tra’s feeds and see if they are visible to you.

The funny thing is that I’ve been chatting to Glinner on their for decades when no other bugger was about.

It's all a bit silly as you can see someone's tweets if you don't log in to your account...

TERF blocker must be based on follows.

I’ve never written, liked or RTed anything GC - it must include if someone follows user A + user B.

I’m sure some very popular and famous big hitters like Obama follows Glinner, wonder if he’s been put on Some dweebs post these famous “followers” and harangue them to unfollow glinner.
