Good news, I think?

Apologies if there's another thread- I did look but couldn't see one.

OP posts:

Thank goodness.

I hope challenging questions will now be asked about how and why this material was written and then deemed suitable for school children.

And I hope those questions are taken seriously and properly pursued.

Good

And it's all multiple people stuff as well, one girl (why are they saying young girl'?)

Yes. The definition given for ‘daisychaining’ is

a young woman sits in the middle of a circle of men and gives them all oral sex in turn

Why is the age of the woman important? Unless the person writing it was getting some sort of satisfaction from describing/picturing the scene? 🤔

Cookieflavoredbiscuit · 15/10/2019 12:56

So encouraging to see a bit of good news now and again. Then again, when it's good news that they've backed off on promoting smutty things to kids on official websites that I need mind bleach for after looking up, seems we've got a longer way to go than I thought we did in the 70's....

Wow, good point.

OhHolyJesus · 15/10/2019 13:01

Thanks Scapa I will try again, I deleted my Twatter ages ago and only miss it at times like this when I want to see what's going on!

I noticed that too Bernard no age given but clearly states a 'young' woman and I thought that in daisy chaining it could refer to 'as fresh as a daisy', meaning young, pure, virginial even? Gross.

It think this could be key in any criticism made that it is beyond pornographic but leaning toward paedophilic. We've all seen numerous media accounts of sex attack victims being labelled as a 'young woman' when the victim is in fact a child and below the age of consent. I've seen it even when the rapist is a teacher at the school the child goes to and the media cover refer to her in this way.

Sorry, thought it hadn't posted!

Dangerfloof · 15/10/2019 13:16

Now it needs to look into how the son of a paedophile sex offender who is soon to marry a man who fantastises about sex with kids, is allowed to meet with kids in secret locations. In Coventry

This is a Twitter reply to the above, anyone know what it means. I know who they mean but not what.

Thank goodness. Well done to everyone involved in getting this result. Thanks for your original post on here whatisthisfuckery

It's frightening how normalised pornified sex is that this ever got okayed. I don't accept the disrespectful and damaging male sexual agenda being foisted on girls and women. Needs sunlight.

TheBullshitGoesOn · 15/10/2019 13:53

Great news.

But wtf is the world coming to that we need to petition a local authority to stop using pornographic and explicit materials in schools?

NotTerfNorCis · 15/10/2019 14:39

Inexplicable that anyone would think this was appropriate for kids! Why would they need to learn this stuff?

Dangerfloof · 15/10/2019 14:53

Thanks orchid

SarahTancredi · 15/10/2019 14:54

Why would they need to learn this stuff?

Perhaps because if they knew all about this degrading disgusting stuff, should an adult abuse them with a far more basic approach it would barely register?

🤮

Mummimum · 15/10/2019 17:42

Good news! Great. Well done to all who fought against it.
