Anyone know what this term means/who it refers to?

I came across it in this article: www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/trans-woman-put-male-ward-20129654

Just shows there is still discrimination against women and gay people.

Transgender woman not a transsexual woman. They ‘looked at their face and decided to put them on the male ward’. Or did they observe a penis and put them on the penis ward?

The hospital put a man where he belonged - on a male ward.

In pyjamas, probably indistinguishable from any other man....

Possibly with stubble. Men always seem stubbly in hospital.

Nice that the hospital were thinking about the women’s (the cunty variety)feelings and that clearly someone with a penis should go with all the other penis owners.

So... if a man decides he is a woman, what if he has a prostate op or something equally ‘male’. Get out on a gynae ward so he can pretend to have ‘wimmins issues’?

And how would you feel if you woke up after having, say reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy and find a male person in the ward alongside you (with a penis, as many do you know) but a lovely new pair of NHS boobs?
