I caught this on the radio this morning, there was a government minister on (didn't catch who) outlining the main concerns in relation to domestic violence services that would be focused on.
I don't know very much about Nicole or Standing Together but the government minister specifically mentioned that a) reducing domestic violence against women and girls was a priority, along with ensuring the domestic violence hill gets through parliament and b) Nicole has stated that managing the 'LGBT' demand for services is one of the difficult challenges she foresees.
It doesn't seem to have attracted much attention due to other political stuff happening today.
