2,000 sexts to 2 female constituents, threatening to beat the women and asking could they take a beating? etc. but due to his "state of mind" at the time
blah...blah.. has been cleared of wrong doing. So routine and so so depressing.

I started a thread about this yesterday. It's appalling

Michelleoftheresistance · 09/09/2019 16:19

If one of those women had retaliated in the way he deserved, I'm willing to bet she wouldn't have been let off due to her 'state of mind' at the time.

It is BS. Just because he wasn't on the clock doesn't mean it was ok to do what he did.

SapatSea · 09/09/2019 17:45

Sorry Emma didn't mean to cross post.
Michelle you are so right

For fuck's sake. What is wrong with these people?

I don't give a fuck if he was depressed feeling a bit sad and sorry for himself. He is not fit for public office. (Though it looks - from the attempt to start a recall petition - that a significant number of his constituents are under no illusions about his lack of fitness, so they'll probably act come the next election even if the office for parliamentary standards won't).
