In light of his declaration that he may run as an independent candidate. Just wanted to confirm that I met with him and he thinks he whole agenda is rubbish. He gave his team a hard time right in front of me for not thinking about the topic before going off a party line to me. Was refreshing.

Meant to add...I think that statement is true. We should, however, be worried, as there's still every likelihood that a combination of the other parties will topple the Tories sometime soon.

Dominic Grieve is my MP and one of the very few high profile stories that I actually admire. I'm very happy to hear that he is GC and I would vote for him if he were independent. He was ousted as AG by Cameron probably because of his very vocal support for the European Convention on Human Rights which the Tories wanted us to withdraw from to have our own Bill of Rights. I think he's someone of principle and I also like that he's challenging Boris (but that's something for the Brexit board)

I didn't know what his views were on the gender identity question but was secretly hoping that he was GC.

My Conservative MP is GC. I contacted her recently about the Safer Schools Alliance's concerns re the EHRC's one-sided "consultation" with Stonewall, Mermaids, etc. She's onto it.

Next election, she'll be up against the Lib Dem candidate, Helen Belcher.

No contest about where my vote will be going.
