A charity that knows what a woman is and uses unashamedly clear language about our bodies. I know women struggle to find charities to support that have not been policy captured by men seeking to eradicate women's identity. This may be one:

I liked this as well:

Thanks. I needed a cheer up Smile

Brilliant thanks. I lost a loved one to one of those cancers. She spent so long in hospital, extremely vulnerable. I'm glad in a way we were both ignorant of the fact the various "single sex" wards she inhabited would have admitted some males with penises if they said the right words. I honestly don't think I could have coped with the additional anxiety.

I'm redirecting my charitable giving away from charities which enable the abuse of women and children; from the removal of the word "woman" at one end of the scale (hi Cancer Research) to rape at the other (hi Oxfam).

Agreed stillathing . I now refuse to fund these organisations in favour of those who still actively support and protect women. And the Eve Appeal ticks all the boxes.

Ta truth. I can’t really spare any cash but bumping

The Eve Appeal are fantastic. It's a shame they're not more widely known. They were so helpful and kind to me when I had a scare.

Well, that’s refreshing. Woman this, girl that - no uterus havers to be found anywhere. I’m almost giddy with the sheer abundance of female-centric language when addressing female biology.

Comments on the DM are depressing though, the point whooshed so fast and so high over most of their heads it might as well not have been made at all. ‘stop telling parents what to do’ ‘what about boys?’ ‘It’s vulgar’ Correct anatomical terms vulgar??!! FFS.

Because of MN I am in the habit of checking out websites before I purchase anything online and noticed that Oliver Bonas have listed them as one of their chosen charities.

Great tip, thank you - will redirect my former nspcc funding. Can you set up a monthly dd? Couldn't find anywhere on the site.

Here's their most recent campaign about language. Well worth supporting.
