They changed the toilets for ONE student. What about the hundreds of female students who might have wanted to keep their female only toilets???Do they matter? And boys who might also not want to share the toilet with girls? FFs

and schools are always so skint. I wonder how much this exercise in being super WOKE removed from the school budget to appease ONE person?

Schools are required by law to provide sex-segregated toilets for all pupils aged 8 years and older:

Toilet and washing facilities
4.—(1) Subject to paragraph (3), suitable toilet and washing facilities must be provided for the sole use of pupils.

(2) Separate toilet facilities for boys and girls aged 8 years or over must be provided except where the toilet facility is provided in a room that can be secured from the inside and that is intended for use by one pupil at a time.

(3) Where separate facilities are provided under paragraph (1) for pupils who are disabled, they may also be used by other pupils, teachers and others employed at the school, and visitors, whether or not they are disabled.

(4) Suitable changing accommodation and showers must be provided for pupils aged 11 years or over at the start of the school year who receive physical education.

Our schools are being entirely misled by the Trans Lobby in the UK. I am astonished that Headteachers do not know the law!

It doesn't say they changed all toilets. so I'm hoping there are still single sex facilities.

It says Cai asked to do PE with the girls which is also worrying.

It doesn't say they changed all the toilets for one student though?
It says they introduced some gender neutral toilets.
Not that they changed them all.
From reading the article it just sounds like they introduced some gender neutral ones too to be more inclusive.
Doesn't say anything about them all changing.

Cai said: 'I have always kind of been a bit different. I have always played with girls’ toys, when I was younger I would dress up in girls’ clothes but I never really thought about it.

Well good job the trans cult convinced you to get a pair of fake tits and play against the females in their sports then.
Who knows what other physiological and phycological harm is coming up for Cai.

Why can't boys just be feminine boys anymore?

LetsSplashMummy · 24/08/2019 07:12

Surely it's better to change some of the toilets to unisex than to let this child use the girls' toilet? The PE is different, I do think we should be managing TW expectations in sports from fairly early, but there are plenty of sports you can do together (just not compete against one another).

Changing uniform policy doesn't cost the school money. TBH, I do think schools should be sympathetic- I think that people this age are more victims of the movement than the ones pushing it.

Quite Qcng, would transgender even exist without sex stereotypes?

madcatladyforever · 24/08/2019 07:19

I'd have thought it would be cheaper to offer that student thier own toilet ff's.
