Incredible. This was one part that stood out to me:

In the women’s changing rooms there were old and young women, grandmothers and children. Some were thin, others fat. Naked girls and women in all shapes and of all ages. They had imperfections, C-section scars, only one breast; some short, others tall. Suddenly, I understood that it was normal for the female body to be different from woman to woman. Perhaps I wasn’t so abnormal after all.

Many people including women here have suggested that we should move to all single stall accommodation because “no one wants to see any stranger naked of either sex”. It may be uncomfortable but as this account shows, it is also how we come to realize that normal is abnormal, and that our bodies are diverse and that is OK.

Amazing article.

"The LGBTQ+ movement around the world is pushing women’s needs aside to make way for men’s demands: the demand for surrogacy, the demand to legitimize the right to buy sex from prostituted women, and the demand that men who identify as women be allowed to enter all women’s spaces.
What once started as a fight for justice for lesbians and gay men has become a movement that erases same-sex attraction as a sexual orientation. The few lesbians who dare state that being lesbian is a sexual orientation based on sex, not gender identity, are accused of being exclusionary, hateful, prejudiced, and of making the lives of men who identify as women difficult. Who will defend the right of lesbians to their own sexual orientation when LGBTQ+ organizations demand that lesbians see heterosexual men as lesbians?"

What a great article. Hungry Hearts are the band that wrote the Vagina Anthem aren't they?

I have spoken about this before. Seeing other people’s bodies is vital for healthy development. Communal changing rooms are just about the only place this happens and they are rapidly being lost. Most communal changing rooms have cubicles for those that do not want to change publicly, but I am one of many who deliberately choose to change in the communal section, even though I may feel self-conscious and even though I am awkward (and trying hard not to reveal too much) because I know it benefits girls and women.

You know, I never thought about how it could benefit other women to have communal changing, but it totally does! I'll go communal where I can now!

That’s a beautiful article

That butch girl was me

(Only even more bloody confused as I’m Bi, so not ‘even‘ a proper lesbian)
