As someone with family legacy in East London I would find this really interesting, particularly to visit with my younger cousins so they can see how women and girls have contributed to the changes in East London over the years. Great Auntie Queenie would love to have seen them learning about her generation in particular!

I’ve filled it in too and thank you for sharing this.

My aunt lived there all her adult life, while the rest of her family was in Scotland. Even when she was widowed young she still would not come back and I’d love to know the life that she lived and what it was that held her there.

There was too big an age difference for me to hear any of her stories really and I think that this would bring her life to life, if you see what I mean.

Thank you for posting this, Toastis. I've done the survey. It sounds amazing. My mobility and income are both pitiful but I'll make the effort to get to London when the museum opens. I have a friend I go to museums in London with.

It sounds amazing, right? I just hope it doesn't get overrun with 'female penises' ... like the vagina museum appears to have been. It must be so hard for women fighting to get little corners of the world to be about us and then they automatically become a target.
