Just saw this story on Twitter. Interestingly, earlier this year it was Cllr Wallace who led the opposition to Gateshead Council's Labour motion defending women's right to same sex spaces, opposing even the right to discuss it.

Shocked and stunned to find out he's a sexist who demeans women.

Gay male sexist, who definitely dislikes women. Though, because he is such a superior being, lots of people are beneath him, women are definitely the lowest. Unfortunately I know him.

Oh really, Alva?

There are people on Gateshead Labour Party's Facebook page who seem to be implying it's an open secret that he's a misogynist.

No wonder he reacted so negatively to women actually wanting to discuss women's rights in a Council meeting, they should know their place. The trans debate will be a convenient excuse for him to shut down women's voices.

I always find men who mock attractive women so hypocritical. Same with men who mock and ridicule prostitutes.

Because prostitutes wouldn't exist without men, and attractive women are usually women who conform to patriarchal standards set by men.

Just yet more examples of how it's always lose lose for women. If you're attractive they call you a bimbo barbie doll with no brains, if you're 'unattractive' they call you a fat ugly so and so (well a lot worse than that but I won't write the kinds of things they usually say).
