wikipedia cutting out women?

I have just been reading up on PMDD.

I noticed how, amongst some search results appeared this:

Referencing 'People who menstruate' totally excluding 'women' as the only group out of the group 'people' that menstruate. Noone else in the group of 'people' do.

Well they just denied their own existence as a place purporting to deliver knowledge (supposedly accurate)

It's menstruating women on Wikipedia now, changed 3 days ago (presumably OP?).

The change from women was made in April by a fella named Adam.

Can't see any evidence of similar nonsense in articles on women's health, so it seems like Adam was just being a muppet, rather than any wholesale policy.

As anyone can edit, as jane suggested, it did make me wonder whether there is an effort [by some, who knows] to reword wiki's references to sex related info, and what wiki's policy is on that, maybe its wiki thats changed it back to 'women'

Unfortunately Wiki has gone full TRA (I saw screenshots of them discussing how to phase out “anyone terfy” from their records without people noticing). Safer to google an actual dictionary!
