The Yaniv effect is wider than I expected.

Check out this on Reddit.

We are tribal, and tend to focus more on issues that affect us. I don't focus on feminism or trans rights because I am a man. My focus is on black issues.

That said, all I knew about you guys is that you hate trans and you are terrorists. Pretty much the narrative being sold

Well, that's until I said A WOMAN HAS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE IF SHE WANTS TO TOUCH A TRANS MANS MALE GENITALIA OR NOT. In regards to the Canadian trans lady who is suing 16 women for refusing a Brazilian wax on their male genitalia.

Guess what happened? Guess who our modern humans decided is wrong?

Anyway. Will be browsing this sub now to see things from your perspective.

In my lifetime, I am seeing the things you warned us about coming to fruition.

I am so sorry

I am finding this to be an interesting experience. It gives me a very different perspective on the wisdom of age.

Nice one.

StrangeLookingParasite · 25/07/2019 02:55

I think (and hope) we're going to see more and more of this.

Yes - this is important. This is peak trans in real time - and it's happening more and more.

It doesn't matter that JY is "one bad apple" - what matters are that the legislation passed in Canada allows the bad apples like Yaniv to abuse the system and harass women. Yaniv may be the first, but Yaniv won't be the last.

It is very bad that legislation has been passed in Canada that allows this abuse of women through the human rights courts - by a male that says they are a woman.

Canada should serve as a warning to us all.

When contrition comes from the Boy Justin, expect something along the lines of 'that was not our intention,' very much the Blair line. Blair, a QC, but not that it stopped him displaying the most basic ignorance of the law.

The Law is not concerned with your intentions. The Law is what is written down in front of you.

bunslinger · 25/07/2019 09:36

Which Blair do you mean? Tony Blair isn't a QC, and Cherie Booth / Blair isn't ignorant of the law.

FormerMediocreMale · 25/07/2019 09:38

Who is the guy who wrote this?

I think more light is being shone on this problem are people are seeing, as he says, that concerns raised are actually happening. Raising concerns was not transphobic it was stating the obvious.

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 25/07/2019 09:45

Tony Blair isn't a QC but read jurisprudence at Oxford and was, if I recall rightly, a barrister. I'm not sure he took the career very far before switching to politics but that is no excuse for ignorance of the basics on his part.

As for the man in the OP, I'm glad he's come to his senses, but 'knew we were terrorists'? WTF?

I must have missed the bit where women planted bombs/knee-capped dissenters/sent anthrax through the post in demand of not changing the law.

Or is terrorist another one of those words that we're supposed to pretend no longer means what it means?

Juells · 25/07/2019 10:05

Yaniv and TW in sport are peak-transing all around. The entitlement that only we t**fs noticed in the past has become so obvious that it can't be ignored any longer. As with the female waxers, the demolition of female athletes has proven how fucking smug and self-entitled some people are, how little they care about the sex they supposedly want to be, and how much they actually hate women.

FeministCat · 25/07/2019 14:10

I assume he is saying that because of the narrative he was told by TRAs that “terves” want to kill trans people, are violent, and so on.

nauticant · 25/07/2019 14:48

Since a common accusation is that terves want to conduct a genocide of trans people, being a terrorist is a bit cuddly in comparison.
