Great interview with NZ Professor of Physiology, Alison Heather, who co authored a study published this week . Not read all of it but so far looks good. Answers lots of common questions. Obviously hate the use of the word cis.

What really annoys me about all of this is THAT has been known for decades.

I am/was an expercise physiologist. I know that! I was taught it, measured the results of it, saw it in all sports, years ago.

There is so much bollocks being peddled in a desperate attempt to fuck up anything that women want to do. It makes me really angry seeing the subject, science, I once loved debased like that.

And we know the study won't be taken seriously because it was authored by a woman. Not only will she be denied her intelligence but will be accused of having an agenda. FFS!

I know. Why the hell anyone has to spell out basic accepted biological facts about human physiology is beyond me. It is what I continue to ask myself, why why why?!

Fascinating stuff, I must say recently I've been musing that on the early pregnancy boards there are posts about telling the sex of the in born child from some sort of skull forehead slant and how fast the heart rate is so it's obvious even on mum/baby sites there are differences.

Plus girls and boys have different growth charts.

And from around age 12, if asthmatic, lung capacity is measured on completely different charts between the sexes. The charts show normal lung capacity that you're aiming for and it's enormously different.
