Sounds like there are police forces who haven't got the woke memo yet.

Another violent male offender whose crimes are likely to be recorded under "woman" though.

I’m from the same area as this person. Most people here are working class liberals. They support gay rights and so forth. Trans people are safe here.

However, I’ve never met anyone here who believes that it’s possible to change sex. Common sense very much prevails.

MagneticSingularity · 21/07/2019 01:47

I can’t be too hard on the cop for misgendering, in view of the enormous footwear, it was clearly just a Freudian slipper.

Gingerkittykat · 21/07/2019 05:47

Will their crimes be recorded as male or female? Will the statistics be showing an extra female violent crime?

MoreNiceCereal · 21/07/2019 07:16

Gingerkittykat the police have been recording crimes based on gender identity for a few years now. Same with the NHS statistics. We've been duped.

Popchyk · 21/07/2019 09:03

"Will their crimes be recorded as male or female?"

They were referred to as both Justin and Charlotte in court.

So who the hell knows at this point?

They probably attribute the crimes to both Justin and Charlotte.

And in a year's time, will probably scratch their heads about why the number of crimes committed in the area has doubled. And they'll spend £4million to commission a think tank to find out the reason why.

The think tank will be comprised of Aimee Challenor, Joey Essex and Susie Green of Mermaids. And they'll conclude that transphobia is the reason why the crime rate has doubled.

I have absolutely zero faith in our institutions at this point.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 21/07/2019 09:39

Thug Charlotte Blundell The Chronicle was doing well there....

"Over both her accounts" the thug owes in fines, I am assuming that refers to Thug's Justin and Charlotte accounts... so yes, some of Thug's crimes ARE recorded as female crimes!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 21/07/2019 21:30

@MIdgebabe it wasn't me, that was the quote from the article Grin

Fizzypoo · 21/07/2019 21:43

This enrages me 🤬🤬🤬

The majority of women go to prison for nonviolent offences, usually theft. Those women need protecting from men pretending to be women wanting to go in a female only prison. Violent men dressed up as women still need to go to a mens prison whether they have massive fluffy slippers or not! Angry

Erythronium · 21/07/2019 22:03

This person has a pink handbag.

Call me MA'AM.

How can someone justify violence because someone didnt use the preferred pronoun?

We've all had the sort of rough day when the smallest thing is the proverbial straw that broke the etc. etc.

I should think if I'd been a little tense, awaiting a knock on the door wrt pouring bleach over someone then I would find dropping a few toast crumbs to be enough to reduce me to a wreck.

Wrong pronouns - incorrectly conjugated verbs - a "somethink" rather than 'something' - any of those would be the utter limit and might drive anyone to violence under those circumstances (very specifically limited to acts of violence that are bringing police officers to your door).

TemporaryPermanent · 21/07/2019 22:31

Grin Grin Magnetic

Dangerfloof · 21/07/2019 22:44

When asked why she wasn't dressed as Charlotte, she claimed somebody "burned" her wig and clothes as she slept"

This almost never happens to me, what is xhe doing wrong?

MoleSmokes · 22/07/2019 03:58

Gerunds get right on my wick!

I'll fight any fucker misgerunds me!

arranbubonicplague · 22/07/2019 11:30

Gerunds get right on my wick!

Absolutely with you on this and gerundives - a red mist would descend on anyone - no tension related to prior sniffing of bleach fumes involved.

I bet there are even school reports alluding to disruption in the classroom following careless grammar or parsing.

EweSurname · 22/07/2019 11:31

Can anyone link to the people in the prison service who were worried about transwomen in women's prisons? I think they wrote letters to a newspaper but I can't find them any more

pepperpot99 · 22/07/2019 11:37

I couldn't give a stuffed slipper what 'gender' this violent entitled yob is, it needs to be in prison.

arranbubonicplague · 22/07/2019 11:38

EweSurname

Do you mean Women in Prison?

www.womeninprison.org.uk/news-and-campaigns.php?s=2019-04-08-women-in-prison-statement

Richard Garside of Crime & Justice, Frances Crook of Howards League etc. might be others?

If it's the Prison Service itself, then Anne Ruzylo is possibly involved? twitter.com/sargesalute

LangCleg · 22/07/2019 11:40

Here you go, Ewe.

The bit most often quoted:

The converse is the ever-increasing tide of referrals of patients in prison serving long or indeterminate sentences for serious sexual offences. These vastly outnumber the number of prisoners incarcerated for more ordinary, non-sexual, offences. It has been rather naïvely suggested that nobody would seek to pretend transsexual status in prison if this were not actually the case. There are, to those of us who actually interview the prisoners, in fact very many reasons why people might pretend this. These vary from the opportunity to have trips out of prison through to a desire for a transfer to the female estate (to the same prison as a co-defendant) through to the idea that a parole board will perceive somebody who is female as being less dangerous through to a [false] belief that hormone treatment will actually render one less dangerous through to wanting a special or protected status within the prison system and even (in one very well evidenced case that a highly concerned Prison Governor brought particularly to my attention) a plethora of prison intelligence information suggesting that the driving force was a desire to make subsequent sexual offending very much easier, females being generally perceived as low risk in this regard. I am sure that the Governor concerned would be happy to talk about this.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 22/07/2019 11:42

So a person called Justin, wearing stereotypical male clothing lashed out at police officers because they addressed Justin using male pronouns

Is it possible that this could just be an excuse for being violent to police officers do you think?

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 22/07/2019 11:43

Makes me think of that charmer at The Jamjar

‘MY PRONOUNS ARE THEY YOU CUNT!!’

CuriousaboutSamphire · 22/07/2019 11:45

Bernard now you mention it... Grin

GCAcademic · 22/07/2019 21:57

‘MY PRONOUNS ARE THEY YOU CUNT!!’

Ah, the phrase that peak-transed my husband. Nothing I said to him previously had much effect, but that one moment in the documentary did it.

MoleSmokes · 22/07/2019 22:53

What documentary was that, GCAcademic? Sounds a hoot! Smile

GCAcademic · 22/07/2019 23:20

Mole - it’s Stella O’Malley’s documentary, “Trans Kids: It’s Time To Talk”. It includes footage of TRAs intimidating feminists at the Jam Jar in Bristol, where the immortal line quoted above was uttered (or, rather, screamed). I think you can watch it on the Channel 4 catch up platform.

AlunWynsKnee · 23/07/2019 00:14

It strikes me that if one were to have a restraining order against you in a male identity then dressing up as a woman, donning a wig and insisting you are a lady with lady pronouns would be be a good way to breech that order.
