Microsoft are running a slick promotion to sell rainbow laptop covers for Pride. (A snip at only £125 each!).

The front page of the promotion feature four "diverse" characters - not one single woman.

You can click to "Hear from people who inspire us" - which gives you 11 people.

One of them is a woman - one! And, to add insult to injury, she's just there to cheer on the menz - she's the only character with no video of her talking. Her blurb says:

I take action by being a visible Ally to my peers, co-workers, and friends. I fight for LGBTQI+ equality and for those that don't yet have a voice.” – Selena

They didn't feel it was necessary to give women an actual voice though.

Are we really meant to think this is progress? FFS.

Oh, and they're donating profits to Mermaids. (Reckon Mermaids are more in need of IT security advice than money right now, though, don't you think?)
