Captain of Missing Malaysian Airline

Speculative story from The Times, but terrifying if true.

The suggestion is that the Captain was depressed following estrangement from his wife, and took his own life along with those of 238 passengers.

He had established “a wistful relationship” with a married woman and her three children while also pursuing younger women on the internet.

If true, it comes down to a bloke who didn't like women saying no to him. Male bloody entitlement.

Or it could have been an accident as The Australian government has theorised?

TheInebriati · 18/06/2019 23:25

The article explains why this theory is more likely than either an accident or a hijacking.
Be warned, its extremely grim reading.

OR someone who had some serious mental health issues whether triggered by a relationship breakdown or not. I am fairly certain it wasn’t a whim of someone who didn’t like the word no from a woman but anyway....

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 19/06/2019 07:25

I have every sympathy for people with serious mental health issues. It’s the murder of the 238 passengers that I am shocked and saddened by.

The point I wish to make is that men with mental health issues and failed relationships can be extremely dangerous. It’s a pattern we see too often.

This is a very good article about this theory.

This.

And it is a problem with men. Women are told No far more often than men, but don't react in a murderous way anywhere near as often as men do.

The above wanted to speak to his estranged wife. So he hijacked a plane. I've never heard of anything similar being done by a woman.
