Has anyone noticed anything strange happening to FWR recently?

Just that really.

I’ve struggled to access the site on my phone in the last few days, with the address bar going blank and nothing happening. This doesn’t happen when I try other websites. My phone isn’t working too well at the moment but it seems specific to this site, rather than my internet connection.

Also I’m sure when I tried to access these boards last night a site that looked like Mumsnet but with different threads popped up briefly. I’m starting to think I might have dreamed it though, as no-one else seems to have issues.

It’s definitely been an issue the last couple of mornings around 6.30-7am UK time if that helps.

It’s not just FWR, it’s the whole of Mumsnet. I’ve noticed it over the past few days and there’s a thread in either Chat or AIBU about it.

I had that issue Friday morning but it cleared up. Don’t know what caused it.

Twice yesterday I tried to repeatedly post something and nothing happened. Then it did post, and then disappeared. This happened on two different threads. A comment I'd just posted simply vanished. I wondered if I had dreamed seeing it there, if I'd maybe just seen the preview, but I don't think so.

I've had this, but I've also had problems with a couple of other sites as well so I don't think mumsnet is being attacked.

Yep, haven't been able to load the page a couple of times. I wonder what's up

I've had the same problem. I checked other parts of Mumsnet and it was all over, not just FWR. The glitch didn't affect any other site I accessed.

I thought it was my phone playing up.

MN frequently doesn't load when any other site does. I'm a bit of an insomniac and often in the hours 3-5 am or so nothing will load.

I put it down basically to MN being fairly dire in technical terms e.g the several data breaches /hacking /offensive porn pop ups/ redirections to dodgy sites/ poor search functionality etc..

Oh and this isn't new.

It takes a really special kind of self-centredness to assume a site-wide issue, which has been much posted about and going on for days (for some apache tomcats, weeks) is somehow related to content of one topic only
