A declaration.

Inspired by spending much time with some magnificent lesbians on chairs today, I have decided to draw a firm line in the sand.

From here on in, I will no longer post on any thread here about a man's opinion, unless it is a newsworthy item that encroaches on women's rights and children's safety. So, I will contribute to threads about Tatchell indulging his paedophilia apologist hobby by lobbying government about SRE, because that is a clear threat to women and children.

I will not be contributing to personal threads about men who believe themselves to be women, however sincerely, any men who hold disgusting opinions that would receive no attention at all if we weren't reposting them here or any thread thanking men for basic human decency.

I am not going to police what anyone else posts, obviously, but I am determined to encourage the women here in the value of women's spaces as places to connect with women, and the power there is in just not giving men the attention they seem to think we owe them.

Feminism is fundamentally exclusionary of males, entirely focused on the rights and protections of women, and is fucking fantastic.

Cheers!

I’m in💪🏽

Why are we even discussing what some of these no marks are saying? Some of them have a couple of thousand of twitter followers and the only (vaguely) interesting thing about them is the claim to be women.
Most of them are nobodies.

If we stopped giving them attention they might have to work or their own numerous inadequacies.

Agree about not wasting airtime talking about the latest thing some narc has tweeted, let alone risking deletions because of them.

However I will go on appreciating decency wherever I find it.

Flo, fair enough, and I understand fully that my red lines are not everyone else's. No judgement on other women intended here - this is simply encouragement, suggestion and accountability on my part.

I dont think you are being judgy floral

There is a thread running at the moment where a shit stirrer is blethering on and for every women engaging there is another telling people not to engage

I think the thread would be a third of the size without that!

If we stopped giving them attention they might have to work or their own numerous inadequacies.

God, I wish.

Posie talks of this on her latest FB video. Especially mediocre men, some who id as women. Doctors or golfers for instance. I'm in.

FloralBunting · 12/05/2019 19:17

Posie and me got it from Julia Long. Who I fan-girled terribly with in the pub.

I feel this is a useful juncture to revisit my declaration and hold myself to it again. Any other woman most welcome to discover the joys of putting women at the heart and breadth of your energies.

Standing up for what you believe is important, Floral. Good for you.

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 26/07/2019 00:40

I love this.

What we do with our energy is incredibly political.

Makes me want to go off and read a bit of Mary Daly

With Posie and Julia together in the pub?

I've met them both separately, not together. I bloody loved the video of them in America.
