James Kirkup from the Spectator has been listed for the Orwell Prize for journalists! When Janice Turner gets nominated for prizes, the TRAs organize boycotts and protests. Wonder what they'll do now it's a man being recognized for standing up to them?

Excellent choice. He's been persistent in challenging politicians about this.

Given what we are facing the Orwell prize is apt indeed. Well done to the foundation for recognising Jame's writing in the current climate of bullying and aggression from TRAs.

Good to hear. I enjoy his writing although we aren't always on the same page - he writes really well and he is brave in speaking out (not as brave as the women speaking out because of the bile spewed at them but that isn't his fault - he's still brave).
