Dear God what an awful world we live in. This story breaks my heart.

littlbrowndog · 18/04/2019 09:43

This is what is like to be a woman. Not a gender identity

LostinSpice · 18/04/2019 09:48

Horrendous. What an incredibly courageous woman she was.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 18/04/2019 09:49

Another day and another murdered woman...
Awful.

2BthatUnnoticed · 18/04/2019 09:50

Just... heart breaking. Totally heart breaking. And it reinforces to every woman and girl there not to speak up if she is abused. That brave, incredible girl.

littlbrowndog · 18/04/2019 09:56

It just brings home how unsafe it is to be a woman. Burnt to death

Gawd I sometimes despair. Are we just disposable.

Very brave woman. Gawd but why do people think it’s fine to sexually assault a young woman and then burn her to death because she complained.

Hurts heart for her

hoodathunkit · 18/04/2019 09:58

I cried this morning reading this story

Brave, brave woman. I can only imagine what she must have suffered.

TrixieFranklin · 18/04/2019 10:02

My goodness, there are no words. Devastating.

Ereshkigal · 18/04/2019 10:15

That is horrific.

Angryresister · 18/04/2019 13:02

No words.

Italiangreyhound · 18/04/2019 20:59

I am no longer shocked, and I do find that shocking.

Sad Angry

I hope it won't be seen as an insult to her memory if I say - look on the bright side. This horror has spawned mass protest. I think, I hope, women's rights in both India and Bangladesh are gaining ground. They need it; they should not have such a need of it. But hopefully women will get stronger there, and that helps all of us everywhere.

2BthatUnnoticed · 18/04/2019 21:51

I’m glad there are mass protests. Unless there is also top-down response from government, it’s hard to see things changing. What has happened to the principal, does anyone know?

SarahTancredi · 19/04/2019 16:05

Tragic story :(
And yes this is what being a woman means. Theres no way out of this.

RIP Flowers

This is stunning and brave . Speaking out til the moment she died. Truly courageous
