So a possible 40k attempted fraud and West Yorkshire police won't get involved in the investigation. Yet they're so quick off the mark to drive down south to question people about using the wrong pronouns, etc.

Maybe if they didn't waste their own time with such stuff they could do their actual job.

I don't blame the Force at all.

It's best to call the police in first, not last.

With the current pressures on scarce detective resources (which everyone complains about) I'd rather the WYP concentrated on violent and property crimes than a "fraud" that has already been investigated twice by amateurs.
