Here we meet Blair (I think Blair may have been mentioned on here before), the Scottish footballer who says "The barriers are coming down". Blair used to be a goalkeeper in a previous life, but is now an outfield player.

"Very, very easy - as much as it's been frustrating submitting paperwork and waiting - it's actually been very, very simple, which 10-15 years ago, the process wasn't.

"The opportunities are certainly there more. I'd encourage any transgender woman or man to go and play sport. The barriers are coming down, go and play."

No quote from the woman left sitting on the bench?

"No quote from the woman left sitting on the bench?"

There hardly ever is, it seems as though certain media outlets are pushing this - well, we know they are.
Blair is also reeeing on twitter and has some new found friends - McKinnon and Kirsty Miller, and is having a dig at Sharron Davies, calling her "transphobic" for misgendering.

That last picture made me laugh. Like they needed brackets to point out which one was Blair (top row centre)

"They need to look at the science, what it actually does to your body,"

science doesn't do anything to your body but science can recognise that sex determining chromosomes have not changed

" It does take away your muscle mass, your explosiveness. Your ratios from type-one to type-two fast-twitch fibres change - your body completely changes"

but it doesn't change it into a female one

"They need to look at the science, what it actually does to your body,"

Thing is, they did. Can you guess who's bodies they looked at.

The reason trans men do not end up fully like genetic men is due to the action of other hormones at puberty like growth hormone, thyroxine and insulin. More testosterone cannot substitute for the absence of the interaction with these substances.
