Another load of data that is now potentially corrupted. WPUK have written to Penny Mordaunt about it:

Wow. No one could have seen this coming!

BadPennyNoBiscuit · 03/04/2019 09:37

This explains the mealy mouthed webchat.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 03/04/2019 09:38

Oh ffs this is infuriating.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 03/04/2019 09:38

Excellent letter from WPUK.
Depressing but spot on. Just shows how influential T organisations are that they have so much influence.

littlbrowndog · 03/04/2019 09:45

Corrupt data

How is any government going to plan

When lobby groups can corrupt this data

Mordaunt do your job which you get paid good money for or resign

AncientLights · 03/04/2019 10:09

Penny will do fuck all, as usual.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 03/04/2019 15:43

Let's fuck over the born women for no better reason than so the self named women don't kick off about not being counted as 'women' in every possible sense regardless of the impact on others. And shhhh, born women; the ones with penises and their feelings and not having to endure their tantrums out weigh your needs. And rights.

Fuck. That. Fuck ALL of That. You'd think people desperate to be women would actually care about this stuff if they were genuine.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 03/04/2019 15:45

The Mordaunt is all about the women with penises and screwing over born women. (And I put it like that purely not to get deleted.) They just don't have the guts to openly say so and defend their position. Which increases my disgust ten fold.

Minister for the Eradication of Women and Equalities.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 03/04/2019 15:53

Presumably deliberate as a way to narrow the reported pay gap without actually having to do anything about it...

Barracker · 03/04/2019 15:55

I hate to state this, but I can think of NO organisation in the UK that collates and represents sex data. It has ALL been converted to self ID.

The bait and switch happened years ago.

The acid test is this:
Can I arrange for this data to be changed from M2F or F2M upon request?

If the answer is yes, it's gender data.
The fact that for many people it also matches their sex is a red herring. The very definition of the data has changed. It is no longer the immutable sex it once recorded.
It is gender. Assumed on behalf of the majority, but subject to alteration for all, if desired.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 03/04/2019 15:56

That is fucking ridiculous

I might stand as a politician

I can't possibly fuck it up any more than the current ones!!

MoltenLasagne · 03/04/2019 16:07

I'm going through the hatch, match, dispatch list of key life events and I can only think of the birth register where it will be sex rather than gender, and even there there's possible dishonesty in the parents section.

MrsFogi · 03/04/2019 16:10

Does this mean there is some hope that the WPUK is beginning to represent women rather than anyone who says they are a woman?

Datun · 03/04/2019 16:11

Everywhere you look, every possible permutation, screws women over.

Women identifying as men? Brings down the men's average salary. Men identifying as women, brings up the women's average salary.

Both lies. Both disguising the power.

Trousering · 03/04/2019 16:12

The ridiculous thing is that all the numpties wanting to be recorded as non binary on employer databases are now removing themselves from the gender pay gap calculation completely. And as they are most likely to be young women, this reduces the gap.

But of course this is intersectional and inclusion based feminism, make yourself irrelevant.

I think that's it's whole raison d'être - were you thinking of WEP?Confused

Barracker · 03/04/2019 18:34

Agreed.
And a GRC can mask that information, if I understood the administrative alterations that it implements.
So it isn't an intact representation, given circa 5000 GRCs. But limited disinformation, at least.

However all other databases of male/female data are amendable upon subject request, with varying levels of supporting 'evidence' required, none of which require a GRC and thus are recording data at odds with both biological and legal sex.
Driving licence, medical records and passports all record gender, not sex.

Hence: they are capturing 'gender'.

ThePurportedDoctoress · 03/04/2019 18:39

She is doing her job, because it's all deliberate.
When is Labour going to wake up???
