Public figures (e.g. MPs) who are PUBLIC about trans in their families

Have any MPs given interviews about their trans or non-binary child/parent/sibling? I am NOT interested in gossip or outing anyone. I'd like to know if any people in the public eye, shaping public opinion and policy, have spoken openly about coming to terms with trans issues on a personal level. I don't mean just MPs and peers, but religious and union leaders, heads of big businesses or significant organisations, media editors, and so on.

No.

Penny Mordaunt has spoken about her emotional connection to the LGBt cause, because of her gay twin brother, James.

On Twitter, her brother leads the plaudits for any announcement on LBGT, and defends her when other people think she's not doing enough.

His bio says: 'not in porn, I just look dirty'. I get the idea that he's a body builder

Chief Rabbi of Reform Judaism, Laura Janner-Klausner, often speaks publicly (and naively, IMHO) about her transgender child.

Thanks both. I did know about the rabbi's late teen child (non-binary IIRC). In a way it seems strange that no one else in British public life has come forward. Even if the Stonewall trans umbrella only extends to 0.1% of the population (and of course with definition creep it is bigger by an order of magnitude), then surely some of the 650 MPs (plus all the other categories of public figures I listed above) must have gender dysphoric people in their families. And I'd hope some of those had gone through whatever transition seemed appropriate and had come to a place of stability in their lives. And then a subset of those would be willing to go public. But no one has.
