Hi, can anyone recommend anything on feminism suitable for a 12 year old to read please? Bonus if also suitable for her 10 yo sister.

It's a tough one these days Sad I think there was a thread a little while ago with some blogs etc, but I'm rubbish at searching, so a bump for you, if a techy sister can find it.

Dorling Kindersley has some good books but are definitely getting woker... However, I've just looked at their 100 women in history sample at Amazon - I think it's OK as it's a bit older - very attractive and readable. They've just published Women, Our History and DP gave me a surprise copy. (I'm very new to GC issues and I think he was trying to cheer me up.) Again very attractive and, overall, I'd say a good intro, but drinking the Kool Aid at the end ...Sad - Lili Elbe was a woman ....

Thank you. I've ordered a couple from
Amazon. Great Women Who Changed The World, and Letters To A Young Feminist. Will see how she goes with those.

Dd2 challenged our sexist neighbour on Sunday who said ds was screaming like a girl. Proud of her. I backed her up and the neighbour went quiet Grin
