From what I read it is due to health issues, so I suspect not.

Chief Constables are cloned. They all come out of the (Home Office) box.

Remember, practically every officer in West Yorks spent the better part of their career knowing about the rape, prostitution and abuse of tens of thousands of female children, and did nothing, looking the other way, for fear of being labeled racist.
Even the ones safely retired on a pension.
Sadly I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a new broom to sweep clean.

And don't forget their coffee morning chum Savile was best mates with the 'Yorkshire Ripper' Peter Sutcliffe (who WYP totally bungled the capture of) and would hang out with him in Jail.

It just filters through the ranks sadly. Have attached a tweet on the other thread from another high ranking officer from the same force, who prioritises men's desires over female protection.
