Good. I understand rules regarding keeping hair tied back etc and making sure you look clean and presentable .but to me that doesnt translate to skirts heels and a shot tonne of make up.

The job can clearly be done in trousers and sensible shoes and fresh faced given men manage

I wonder if this is a bit like ZHC being technically allowed to turn down shifts. Will crew actually notice any change between written guidelines and unwritten expectations?
Incidentally they had to change their red patent heels a few years ago, when the feet were placed together the shoes would "stick" to each other causing the cabin crew member to fall over...
Not good considering they are there for passenger safety.

This is so progressive! I used to be crew & airlines were so strict on hair, make-up and figure.

OMG! the cabin crew aren't wearing makeup? Surely the planes will crash!
