I know it is a dm link but the more awareness the better I reckon.

Bloody hell!

MGA Entertainment Inc said the L.O.L. Surprise! range is a creative representation of inclusivity and diversity for girls and boys and that the 'BDSM' look was 'OK' as it showed everyone was unique.

Reminds me horribly of Desmond.

SpeakUpXXWomen · 01/03/2019 14:22

Yup, brave new world where inclusivity and diversity equals breaking (safeguarding) barriers, normalising a total loss of childhood. Bleurgh.

Given that male primary school headteachers invite drag queens into schools as role models for children and Mermaids has a calendar of drag queens - some in bondage gear - for their children's charity, is anyone surprised?

Just watched Three Girls on netflix.

Trying to slut shame child abuse victims is just abhorrent. How can any court allow that?

There needs to be a societal shift to respect women and girls as human beings first and foremost. This idea that some people are "lesser" because of where they live or what "sort" of family they are from is just so wrong. Nobody deserves to be raped. No child can consent.

This continual attack on rights has to stop.

Though I must warn you, if you have family or friends in the police it may change your opinions of them.

Literally thousands of police ( amongst other professionals) up and down the country knew this was going on and for 20yrs nobody blew the whistle. Not even the ones that were safe on their pensions.

'We purposely do not design our dolls to 'fit a mould' as we do not want our products to dictate how girls or boys should look and/or act because societal norms say so.

Social norms like say not sexualising toddlers?

Katvonfelttipeyebrows · 04/03/2019 09:34

The story was covered by Angry People in Local Newspapers (big Facebook page)

The comments were surprisingly supportive. It's really not funny or fun to sexualize kids

I hate the way children are made into mini adults. I’m quite sniffy about pop music for kids and particularly hate what counts as fashion for kids.
But who was buying lol dolls thinking they were great for influencing children? They couldn’t be any clearer about being cheap plastic sold for £££. It’s a bit disingenuous to be shocked that they are utter crap?
I hate high heels and make up for anyone under 25 (maybe 16) so I try and stay away from it all. It’s hardly a fine line.
