Transwomen in Sport and Tavistock GID in this week's Spectator

Rod Liddle did a good, entertaining article on it in this week's Spectator www.spectator.co.uk/2019/03/womens-sports-may-one-day-soon-consist-entirely-of-men/ You have to register to view it or subscribe. He fits in quite a lot on transwomen in sport including the flawed study by Joanna Harper many TRAs quote saying transwomen have no advantage over women that used a study of only 8 athletes and no control group.
He's calling the Tavistock GID Clinic "Frankenstein's Castle" and says
"My guess is that we will look back on this period of experimentation on our children with horror and deeply regret the day we decided that kids should be allowed to be shunted into whatever ghetto of victimisation they so desire, given that our society today seems to value victimhood above all else. In the meantime, shouldn’t the Tavistock’s gender clinic be closed down?"

A good article and to the point.

Don't read below the line though. It is of course the fault of women wanting equality and men being forced for to embrace the inferiority of women's sports which is apparently universally shit anyway.

I am not sure our society values victimhood. It values certain kinds of victimhood, for certain people.
Victimhood and oppression of white, middleclass, heterosexual men, is valued, but female victims of actual abuse are still blamed and belittled.

The compensation culture values victimhood with people getting additional compensation for "pain and suffering". You don't get more money for being stoical.
The current hate crime legislation being consulted on in Scotland with crimes getting longer sentences if they are against certain people rather than all people being viewed as equal encourages that as well.
Agree that Spectator commentators are an odd bunch who have strange ideas of what feminists are.
