Just asking as I’m new to MN and appalled at the threads in here D:

OP posts:
RuggyPeg · 06/02/2019 09:04

What appalls you?

charlestonchaplin · 06/02/2019 09:04

I don't.

glenthebattleostrich · 06/02/2019 09:05

And I'm sure you've come here all innocent and didn't just deliberately start a goady thread to grab screenshots.

charlestonchaplin · 06/02/2019 09:05

I don't hate transpeople.

Finfintytint · 06/02/2019 09:06

Examples?

Ampersandcolon · 06/02/2019 09:06

I don't hate trans people. Why do you ask?

GoldenBlue · 06/02/2019 09:06

I don't hate anybody. I have a lot of empathy for individuals who are so uncomfortable in their own skin.

I think most of the arguments on here are about self identification and concerns about abuse of that to erode women's rights rather than any dislike or malice towards people that identify as trans

You're new?

Read a few threads to understand people's problems with the ideology, NOT the trans people themselves.

There's a thread called break it down for me on this board, that s very informative.

PinkAvocado · 06/02/2019 09:07

Can you link to an example?

NotMeOhNo · 06/02/2019 09:08

Are you one of those people who chortle at Miranda and Kristin being banned off twitter?

If so, do you hate trans people?

NotMeOhNo · 06/02/2019 09:08

*Kristina
Autocorrect!

TeenTimesTwo · 06/02/2019 09:09

I don't either.

You seem to have made a big unjustified jump from people on the boards being concerned for the rights of females, protecting single sex spaces, being concerned about puberty blockers etc to 'hating trans people'.

theworldistoosmall · 06/02/2019 09:09

I don't hate trans people, a few of my friends are trans.
What I do hate is people trying to erode rights.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 06/02/2019 09:10

I dont hate anyone

You havent said whether you hate anyone super

Calvinsmam · 06/02/2019 09:12

Why do you hate female bodied people bear

Bluebellsarebells · 06/02/2019 09:12

I don't hate trans people.
I just don't believe in lady brain or that human beings can change sex.

DeloresJaneUmbridge · 06/02/2019 09:12

I have a friend who is m-f trans and she is fabulous, I have no issue with using “her” and “she.”

So no I don’t hate trans people and never have.

I equally have no issue with shared spaces BUT I have every empathy with those who do and can see their reasoning as well.

Horsewithnoma · 06/02/2019 09:13

Is this another OP that can't/won't debate?

Shame.

On the off chance may I politely ask Supermamabear this question:

Could you please define the word "woman" without using the word "woman"?

Thank you.

Lamentations · 06/02/2019 09:13

I don't.

I just don't believe that refusing to name day as night makes me a bigot.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 06/02/2019 09:13

You have the right to be appalled and no one can take that away from you.

Melroses · 06/02/2019 09:14

Ah, mirroring.

RepealTheGRA · 06/02/2019 09:15

I don’t hate trans people.

I do however have strong feelings towards individuals and ideologies that work towards undermining safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and women’s rights. HTH.

ChattyLion · 06/02/2019 09:15

I don’t hate anyone or see hate. Concern for others and women drawing boundaries is all I see. That’s not hateful.

OnTheHop · 06/02/2019 09:15

I don’t hate trans people.

Not supporting the proposed changes to the GRA does not = hating trans people.
Despising individuals who dox, report to police and employers and who make violent threats against those with different opinions does not = hating trans people.

I fully defend the rights of trans people in respect of equal rights to jobs (within the current sex discrimination act) healthcare, and to live free from sex or gender based abuse.

It’s not difficult.
